department of agriculture – usa

The US Department of Agriculture provides leadership on food, agriculture, natural resources, rural development and related issues based on sound public policy, the best available science, and efficient management.

Their vision is to be a dynamic organization that is able to enhance agricultural trade, improve farm economies and quality of life in rural America, protect the Nation’s food supply, improve the Nation’s nutrition, and protect and enhance the Nation’s natural resource base and environment.

DCG helped the USDA with:

  • Creating a brand name for US Products.
  • Enhancing the image of US products on a national and international scale
  • Marketing of wheat, corn, meat, and chicken.
  • Marketing of secondary products such as corn oil, repackaging it, and creating the demand for it internationally as a novelty item
  • Convinced Haiti to buy US rice, instead of using their own local supply of rice.
  • DCG also re-branded the USDA itself, with service which included: Marketing, Advertising and Re-developing a brand identity
  • DCG also provided various market studies, projections, and case reports.
